Time to travel...

They say "travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer." If that is true, then I am one of the richest people I know. I have "bought" a lot of travel. I owe most of my travel opportunities to my family and friends. Music has been the main vehicle I've used to see the world. The funny thing is, the more I travel, the more want to continue traveling. Don't get me wrong. I love home and miss my own comfortable bed, but there's just something about waking up in a new place. The sights, the smells (mostly food smells) and the people. Oh, the people. I can be rather shy at times, but for some reason I'm not when I travel. I enjoy striking up conversations with others. I like finding that "off the beaten path" restaurant or better yet grabbing a sandwich and taking a seat on the square to watch the people.

This blog will be filled with stories from the road....the many roads I've traveled. I may mention some interesting characters from along the way. It sure will be nice remembering them and all the fun (or funny) happenings from the journeys. Enjoy the songs from the road with me. Ciao!
